Reminder: Registration forms need to be returned to the main office-if registration payment is made and forms are returned before June 14th- One winner per grade will win back their registration fees.

We are having an awareness fundraiser on Friday for Sexual Assault. Wear blue jeans or buy a blue cupcake to show your support for ending sexual violence. All proceeds will be going to Niagara Sexual Assault Centre.

Students council is proud to announce a fundraising initiative to support people with intellectual disabilities who want to train as athletes who will compete in the Special Olympics.
Every four years law enforcement agencies from around the world coordinate the Torch Run for Special Olympics. To support the initiative we have paper Torches for sale. Each torch is $2 with all proceeds going to Special Olympics Ontario. Your name can be written on the Torch and posted in the window of the main foyer. Help us to show our local community that we support the Special Olympics.
Torches will be on sale in the main foyer from Tuesday May 23rd to Wednesday May 31st.

Hey, Cyclones...BBQ season is here!
Join us on Friday, as the Interact Club hosts a BBQ fundraiser for Faith Flagg and her family.
Bring your loonies and toonies as we'll be selling hamburgers, hot dogs and pop.

Attention all SHSM Electrical Energy Students
We will be running our last Working at Heights Training session of the year!
The training will take place on Friday in the Gallery.
This is a compulsory certification for the SHSM Energy red seal. We have room for six students.  Please see Mr Demers in room 109 to register.

GPP 3O1        Peer leaders in support of learning ( PALS) are to remain in their associate class for the entire time today as Mr. Edwards is away with the Sr boys Soccer team for their Zone semifinal playoff match.

Clubs and Activities
Attention all Interact members and Josh Wayda!  Our meeting is changed from Wednesday to today this week to plan for Friday's BBQ.  See you at lunch in Rm 213.

Capture the Flag participants...you are either on the Green team or Black team....make sure to have the right colour TSHIRT.
ALSO YOU NEED A GREEN Permission form handed in by next Wednesday or we have to cancel BUSES due to numbers.
Please return the form to Mrs. Mergl or the main office. You ONLY need parental information & signature.

Just a reminder that there is math homework help with Mr. Noel today at lunch in room 316.

Sports
CONGRATULATIONS TO THE ENTIRE track & field team for winning overall team title at SOSSA and overall girl’s title and overall boy’s title. This is the 4th year in a row! Congratulations to the 40 athletes who advanced to REGIONALS this week and to the 12 athletes who got GOLD medals: they are Hailey Bronn, Jacob Mergl, Tyler Dobbie, Cate Gualtieri, Emma Kalailieff, Grace Teal x2, Paige Clements x2, Brock Deba x2, Jessie Fennell x3, Kate Knafelc x3 and Sofia Labricciosa x5.
All athletes competing this week you need to see Mrs. Mergl to complete OFSAA forms, come to practice today and tomorrow, and read the PE board. All athletes who are not competing anymore, you had a great season and reminder to hand in your singlet before June 7th.

There will be a mandatory brief girl’s baseball meeting today at lunch in the back of guidance.  Mrs Marshall will be picking up your jerseys TODAY-She needs your money ASAP!  See you there!
