Last Wednesday was an exciting playoff afternoon for both girls’ volleyball teams. The JR girls squeaked out an exciting victory against Jean Vanier in the fifth game 18-16 to claim the Zone 3 championship. Across town at Centennial, the SR girls were down 14 - 12 in the fifth game but came back to win 16-14 to claim the NHRSAA championship and move on to play the winner of the Catholic Board Championship. That game will be here tomorrow at 3pm vs St Mikes. Students and Staff are invited to come and watch some exciting playoff volleyball. With a win, the SR girls will compete at SOSSA next Monday. The JR Girls Volleyball and JR Boys Basketball have also qualified for SOSSA and will compete on March 1st. Great results and good luck to all the teams.
