Today’s News
A big thanks to all students and staff that attended the coffee house last night. Congrats to all students that performed, you were all spectacular. Shout out to Mr. Hughes for ‘bringing it’ last night!!

First deposits for prom are due starting Thurs. in the cafeteria.  There will be someone in the cafeteria to take your deposit of $35 on Thurs. of this week and Mon, Wed and Fri next week.  Prom is coming don't miss out.

On Tuesday April 3rd, the flag for Autism Awareness was raised at all DSBN schools as well as at the Town of Pelham.  Period 1 teachers, if you haven’t had a chance yet, please check Crossley Conference for a link to a video that you can show your Period 1 class that will help everyone better understand Autism Spectrum Disorder.  Today at lunch we will be selling ribbons for Autism Awareness.  Please help this important cause as it provides support and programs for people who have ASD.  Thank you!

The Short Hills Volunteer Fire and Rescue Association scholarship is now available in Guidance.  Please pick up an application and submit requirements to Pelham Fire Station 3 by June 1, 2018.

Attention all grade 11 and 12 students we are being given an advance screening-yes folks before it hits theatres for the fevers public-of Indian Horse. We will be taking a trip to the Cineplex Odeon in Niagara Falls on April 11th. We will be leaving the school at 8:50 am. Yes you will be able to buy popcorn! See your English teacher or Ms. Yallup for a permission form asap! Money is due by Monday!

Hey Crossley there is a wellness club meeting in room 312 today at lunch... come and help us plan the stress ball workshop and the puppy room for before exams... hope to see you there

Sports
This past weekend, one of Crossley's own traveled to Augusta, Georgia to compete in the National Drive, Chip and Putt Championship.  This is the same site of this week's Master's tournament and perhaps is the world's most famous golf course. Congratulations goes to Luke D. who placed 5th among boys 14 & 15.  He was only 1 of 3 Canadians to earn a spot at this prestigious event.  When you see Luke in the halls, be sure to give him a high five. Well done Luke.

This is a reminder that there will be a girl’s soccer practice tomorrow at 6:30 in the main gym.  All girls are expected to attend.

Attention all lacrosse players, there will be a tryout tonight Thursday April 5th at Youngs Sportsplex in Welland, see Ms. Yallup if you cannot find a ride.

Just a reminder to Track & Field athletes that the clothing order form and money is due next Tuesday April 10th if you are interested in anything. See Mrs.Mergl if you have any questions

Senior boys’ soccer practice is cancelled for FRIDAY given the early set up for coed volleyball in the gyms. We will practice Monday morning at 6:30. Junior soccer team members are expected to be at practice on Monday morning as well.
