Today’s News
On May 23rd at 8am in the main gym, we will have a 2018 Graduating Athletes photo shoot. This includes: Grade 12 athletes who played ELC sports in all 4 years OR played in any of the 4 years OR played ELC sports this year (this includes South Lincoln or Crossley) YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THE PICTURE AT THE MAIN OFFICE, TODAY IS THE DEADLINE!
We will be recognizing our 4-year athletes at the Sports Banquet on June 13th starting at 5:30pm.   If you are a qualifying athlete and are not present for the picture on May 23rd, you will not be recognized at the banquet.
Tickets sales for the banquet will start on May 23rd till June 1st in the Phys Ed offices.

Hey Crossley!  Did you know that animal agriculture produces more greenhouse gas emissions than any transportation in the world combined?  Going vegan can reduce your carbon footprint by a half.  So, save the world and come one down to the tech hallway today at lunch for a vegan smoothie!

Feeling stressed?  Studies prove laughter reduces anxiety!  Laugh out loud at the Improv Alumni Show tomorrow night in the Drama Studio.  Tickets are $5.00.  Performers use audience suggestions to fuel their scenes.  Watch as these improvisors weave LOL magic!  Proceeds to all things improv!!  Hope to see you there.

Sports
Congratulations to all Crossley crews who raced like champions on the weekend
Crossley crews traveled to Philadelphia to partake in the largest high school regatta in the world! Crossley entered 6 races and walked away with 5 golds and 1 silver- a superb performance
Gold medalists are Lauren N., Kora ., Emma L., Teja C., Lauren D., Krista Z., Seyen Oord, Jenna V., Meghan C., Fraser D., Andrew S., Jeremy L., Owen D., Kennedy K., Neill K., Alex J., Lauryn B., Peyton L. and silver medalists in a hard fought and well-earned race are Cam V. and Alex B.
Well done ELC rowers- you did us all proud on international waters!
Meanwhile back at our home course ELC took home a number of medals at the SNRC Invite. Many gold, silver and bronze medalists along with the Men’s and Overall Championships and second in the Women's total. Super effort!
It was very inspirational to watch many ELC crew do battle on the race course fighting back in numerous races despite mounting fatigue!
Go blue and gold!
