To all grade 9s: You got your permission form for the Grade 9 RETREAT. The forms must be returned to your 1st period teacher by tomorrow or you will not be attending the RETREAT for next week and you will be staying at the school for the day.
The groups for Grade 9 day have been posted by the cafeteria. Please find your name and group. If you cannot find your name ask a friend to help you or see Mrs. Mergl ASAP
The Mayor's Youth Advisory Council of Niagara Falls in conjunction with Brock University and the DSBN is holding a one day summit for students in grades 9 through 12 to help them prepare for post-secondary opportunities. It is on October 11th at Brock University. If you would like to be considered for this amazing event, please see Mrs. Gibson in Guidance.
Clubs and Activities
Do you crochet or knit? Do you want to learn how? Come see Mrs Wayda in room 301 on Wednesday at lunch so we can figure out a schedule for the rest of the school year. No experience necessary and all beginner materials provided.
Do you have an interest in social justice and making positive change through your actions? The "We Interact" club will be meeting today at lunch in room 313. New members are always welcome!
Movie fans ... The Oddity Film Society is having an important meeting today at lunch in room 305. Anyone who loves good entertainment should stop by.
Crossley for Christ will have its first meeting Thursday at lunch in room 215.We will be playing a game, having a devotional, and spending time with other Christians. Everyone is welcome! Bring your lunch and see you there!
To all Grade 9s: we are looking for minimum 3 more runners to complete our midget teams for both the girls and the boys in Cross Country. We meet in the gym foyer after school. We don't cut anyone from the team. Come and join and belong to a team.
Attention to the Junior boys’ volleyball team.... you have a practice today after school until 4:00pm. If you cannot attend, Mr. Doucet needs to see the white of your eyes to see hear your explanation. Please see Mr. Doucet in room 306.

Great to see all the newcomers that came out to the Open House for the Fall Learn to Row program on Saturday.
The official program begins this Saturday and runs at 9am or 11am. The same for Sunday. Weekends in September and October. Flexible, fun, fitness, friends.
There is still time to register this week and this Saturday. See Mr. Ruscitti in rm 206 or Mr. Usborne in rm 307 to pick up a registration form.
