This announcement is for all grade 11s. Please remember Ms. Cripps’ visit to your period 4 class yesterday, inviting you to attend up to 3 college/ university visits. Permission forms must be picked up in Guidance today and returned to Guidance for 8:10am on Monday. NO late forms will be accepted. 

Hey Cyclones - E. L. Crossley's First Glow Dance is on Thursday Sept 20th from 7-10pm. Tickets are on sale now and will be $7 in the caf at lunch and $8 at the door. Sign-ins need to be signed up by Monday at lunch and you must include the school and phone number as well as a parent contact number for your sign in student. Entry to the dance will be from 7 to 7:30pm. Absolutely No late entries allowed unless they have personally spoken to Mrs. Hutchinson or Mrs. Wayda to sign up for a late entry pass. Dress code will be in effect. Dress up in your neon or white and you will be sure to glow bright with Cyclone Spirit!! 

The Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council of Niagara Falls in conjunction with Brock University and the DSBN is holding a one-day summit for all students to help them prepare for post-secondary opportunities.  This year’s event will be held at Brock University on Thursday October 11th.  If you are interested in finding out more information on the Keynote speaker and sessions, please see Mrs. Gibson today for more details.  Space is limited so don’t delay.  

Attention to those graduating students who wish to be a sponsored applicant for the Loran Scholarship please see Mrs. Gibson for information before October 1. 

Attention all Cyclones! Are you passionate about the preservation of our environment? Do you want to help put an end to species extinction? Are you interested in being involved with the planning of our Veg Fest? If yes, then the E.L.C Eco Club is for you. Our first meeting of the year will be this TUESDAY at lunch in the horticulture room (across from 113). Bring your lunches, your ideas and prepared to think green:).  If you would like to be involved but cannot make the first meeting please see either Ms. Kropac or Tessa Piccolo.

There will be a meeting of all those interested in being on prom committee on Tuesday Lunch in room 318

Attention all Learn to Row participants:  Sessions run Saturday and Sunday this weekend at 9am or 11am at the Niagara Rowing School in Jordan. The address is 4579 Twenty-First Street, Vineland, and is posted on the bulletin board outside the office under announcements. Find directions and further info at niagararowingschool.com.  If you have not registered yet you can bring your completed form down to the club on Saturday or pick up the form there. No Problem.
Aim to arrive 15min ahead of time if you still need to complete registration.  Check out the weather and dress in layers if you think it is going to be a bit cool.
Coaches will be there to greet you and to assist you on your first rowing experience.
