Hey Crossley, it is Rowan's Law Day Next Wednesday Sept 26th, we as a whole are going to show school spirit by wearing Purple!! Purple is Rowan Stringer's favourite colour. Also, there will be a banner in the main foyer for you to sign if you have ever had a concussion.  You will learn more about Rowan on that day!

Clubs
Mr. Gaines and Mrs. Barber would like to thank the over 50 students that performed at the Wainfleet parade last evening.  You all did an excellent job and made us very proud.
We will rehearse again on Monday after school in preparation for the Grape and Wine Parade, that is held next Saturday. This is one of Canada’s preeminent parades and we are the featured lead band. New members are still welcome.

If anyone helped with computers in chess tournament last year or any organizing please see Miss Wheeler.

Want to pursue a career in business and be a leader? DECA is looking for individuals who want to have fun showing their skills in mock business proposals. Do you think you have what it takes to make it to provincials in Toronto this February? If so, come to room 213 at lunch on Wednesday September 26.

Sports
A reminder that Learn to Row sessions continues this weekend and every weekend in September and October (including Thanksgiving weekend)
Remember there is flexibility there so do not stress
9am or 11am or both on Saturday and Sunday
make it work for you and come out for some friendships, fitness and fun!
There has bee n a great turnout so far so come out for one of Crossley's biggest teams!
Newcomers are still welcome to come out this weekend- it is not too late.

Girls Basketball: Great games today. A hard game against Centennial with a 40-29 loss and a team building win against Laura Secord 57-10

Girls junior basketball will be excused at 10:35am to get ready them meet outside room 104.

Yesterday turned out to be a beautiful day for Tennis. Our ELC team was in action at Zone and did well across the board. Special congratulations goes out to our Open boys doubles team of Tanner and Cole Bedard--Zone 3 Champs who will go for the SOSSA crown two weeks from now. Way to go team!
