Cyclone Day is almost here! On June 1 students council has a fun filled day of activities planned at Queenston Heights. Permission forms will be handed out by your first period teachers. Please make sure to get them signed and bring them back to your period one teacher by May 20.  All students who have first period spare, please see Ms. Kropac in room 310 to pick up your permission form for Cyclone Day. Teachers: there is an email in the Crossley staff room with all the information you need to talk to your classes about Cyclone Day. 

Arts Showcase Today!
There is an ARTS SHOWCASE  - after school TODAY, at 3PM in the drama studio - with several seats still available!  Tickets are 5$ at the door - on a first come, first served basis.  Doors will open at 2:45.  Come out and support Crossley performance students and see this ARTS EXTRAVAGANZA with live music and drama performances, as well as visual arts displays.  We would love to share our work with you! All staff and students are invited to attend.  

CLUBS

Are you interested in planning school wide events like spirit weeks and Semi? Are you interested in working as part of a team and developing leadership skills? The Students Council is the club for you! Nomination packages are available this week and due on Friday May 13th. Please come to room 113 or room 308 and speak with Mrs. Varga or Mrs. Ranieri if you are interested!

Attention Yearbook members! It’s Wednesday so you know what that means…Meet Ms White and Mrs White at lunch in room 209 for some important check-ins! New members are always welcome. See you there!

SPORTS

CONGRATULATIONS To the TRACK & FIELD TEAM who won ZONE  by over 250 points to the next placed team A N Myer. We also won girls overall and boys overall in team points.  Almost all athletes on Crossley’s track & field team have advanced to SOSSA for next week. Please ask an athlete how they did because they did awesome! They would love their name to be announced… See everyone tomorrow for mandatory practice.

The varsity boys baseball team is in action this afternoon as they take on AN Myer at 1:00 PM. Boys, you are reminded that we are meeting out front of the gym doors at the end of lunch. Please be dressed and ready to go.
