Good morning cyclones! Student council is excited to have our first spirit week next week! make sure you follow our Instagram page @elcstudentscouncil so that you can see the plans for the week. On monday students are asked to wear purple our of respect for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II - as we will honour her in a moment of silence on our National day of mourning.
A reminder that nomination forms for student council grade reps are due to Mrs. Varga today in room 113 by 2:10pm
CLUBS
On Tuesday we will have silly socks and/or sandals day along with a class competition that will run for the first 10 minutes of period 1. Colour Wars is back! By wearing socks and/or sandals and by winning in the class competitions you will earn points for your grade, which get tallied and the overall grade winners are announced in June, at our annual Cyclone Day.
Are you interested in interesting cinema? Do you like watching weird movies? Do you have a hankering for popcorn? Wanna be part of a podcast heard in over 20 countries? If so, stop by room 305 at lunch to learn about the Oddity Film Society and grab a permission form.
Conquering the planet, fighting zombies, slaying dragons, stopping the apocalypse, escaping a cursed mummy’s tomb, destroying a city as a giant mechanical kitten are all things that happen in the Board Game Club. Stop by room 305 for some information and gaming.

Mr. Petro and Mr. Shannon would like to thank all students who came out for the Jr. Boys Volleyball Team. The team roster will be posted outside of the boys changeroom at the start of lunch.
