In honour of Random Act of Kindness day tomorrow ELC has decided to celebrate one day early. Make a difference to a fellow cyclone today by holding a door, giving a smile or helping someone out. Happy Kindness Day!

Attention Chess-letes! Students interested in participating in the next chess tournament must bring their forms in to Mrs Bhan in room 313 by the end of the week. Even better, please give them to Mrs Bhan tomorrow at chess club! Didn’t get a form and interested in going to the tournament? No problem! Come out ot chess club tomorrow at lunch in the library to get a form for the tournament.
The Oddity Film Society will be celebrating Valentine’s this month with all sorts of unusual romantic flicks. Let’s start tomorrow.
Attention all grade 12s. If you are thinking that you are returning for next year, please submit your intentions via the Google form found in D2L - Student Services. Intentions to return must be made by February 10th.

Congratulations to all of the novice rowers who competed on Saturday in the Novice Sprints Indoor Rowing competition in St. Catharines. True blue and gold spirit and efforts by all of the athletes. More to come. Winning gold was Aaron J., silver medalists were Kate I. and James C. and bronze medals were won by Fleur G., Grant L. and Ethan V. . Well done to all.
All rowers are reminded that regular practices continue this week with novices out on Tuesday and Thursday after school. Meet in the foyer outside the big gym. Second semester startup so newcomers are welcome- it is definitely not too late. Slow and steady is the way we go so we will ease you into things gradually. All are welcome and feel free to bring a friend.
A reminder to the intramural hockey players that the season continues this week with the yellow team playing the grey team today and the orange team playing against the blue team on Thursday.
