TODAYS NEWS 

E.L. Crossley is offering extra homework and assignment help Tuesday and Thursdays.  Mr.  Yando and Mr. Leone will be working with students in the library afterschool today until 4 pm.  This is a great opportunity to get additional support in any of your courses. Everyone is welcome!

Attention all grade 12s.  If you are thinking that you are returning for next year, please submit your intentions via the Google form found in D2L - Student Services.  Intentions to return must be made by February 10th.

If you are a Crossley student who would like to have a timetable here at Crossley for next year, then you know you MUST submit your course requests online by Friday of this week. Please also note that a signed paper copy of your course selections is to be returned Student Services by the same date.  A reminder that the opt out of the eLearning graduation requirement form can also be returned at that same time.

CLUBS

Attention Chess-letes! Students interested in participating in the next chess tournament must bring their forms in to Mrs Bhan in room 313 by the end of the week. Even better, please give them to Mrs Bhan TODAY at chess club! Didn’t get a form and interested in going to the tournament? No problem! Come out ot chess club TODAY at lunch in the library to get a form for the tournament. All are welcome.

Reminder to the girl’s hockey team of their game on Thur at the Welland Memorial Arena at 3 pm, please arrive at 2 pm you will be dismissed at 1:40.  See Ms. Yallup if you need a ride asap or if you are unable to attend.

Please excuse members of the Boy’s Hockey team today at 12:30 for their home game against Port Colborne.

Good luck to the Jr. and Sr. Boys Basketball teams who take on Welland Centennial today after school in the large gym. Come out and support our cyclones!

Row, row, row your boat gently down the stream. Merrily, merrily, merrily, merrily life is but a dream. That’s right Crossley rowers keep training and rowing your way to your dreams. Regular practices continue with the novice practices again this week Tuesday and Thursday after school. Meet in the athletic foyer outside the main gym.

ALL newcomers are welcome and encouraged to come out. Do not worry if you have ever rowed before or even done a sport or anything like rowing. That is half the fun. New skills, new fun, new fitness and new friends. We will take it slow and steady to help you ease into it. You never know unless you go. You owe it to yourself to give it a try. Go blue and gold!
