TODAYS NEWS

Students who did not pick up their report card please come to the main office.

Today the SSTS class will be selling Valentines cupcakes for $2.00 during second period.  They will be going around to each class. 

Graduation photos are happening today, if did not make an appt please come to student services so we can arrange an appt.

E.L. Crossley is offering extra homework and assignment help Tuesday and Thursdays. Mr. Yando and Mr. Leone will be working with students in the library afterschool today until 4 pm. This is a great opportunity to get additional support in any of your courses. Everyone is welcome!

Good morning cyclones! Today is Red, Pink OR White day - could period 1 teachers - please count and record the number of students (by grade) who are wearing red, pink or white? Also, there is a short icebreaker activity for period 1 classes to play today or tomorrow. Teachers will find the materials in their mailboxes and the instructions in an email. A reminder that tomorrow is classroom clones day - a new spirit day where we ask each period one class to select a theme in which to dress up in. Thursday is going to finish our week with pj day!

CLUBS

Attention Chess-letes! We will be having an important meeting at the start of lunch in the library for all players attending Thursday’s tournament. If you are coming to the tournament - please come to the meeting. If you have questions, please see Mrs Bhan. Chess Club is also running throughout lunch today in the library, new players are always welcome!

The Oddity Film Society will continue its celebration of romance and smooches with Edgar Wright’s Scott Pilgrim vs the World after school in room 305. 

SPORTS

The only colour better than red, pink or white today is….you guessed it BLUE and GOLD! Crossley rowers love wearing with pride their blue and gold and that pride starts with winter training to prepare for the soon to be spring on water season. There is the old saying- medals are earned in the winter and handed out in the spring! And so too is fun, fitness and friends in the winter. Join us today novices and newcomers to the workout after school. Meet in the athletic foyer after school and be ready to ROCK n’ ROW!!! You’re OARSOME!
