ANNOUNCEMENT

Starting first thing Monday morning and into the late evening on Tuesday, we are privileged and excited to be hosting a part of the AA Girls Volleyball OFSAA.  This will be a great celebration for our school and we are also thrilled that our team will be a part of the championship.

The school will be a busy place, both inside the gym area and the parking lot.  There will unfortunately be limited access to the gym area over the 2 days.  Unless you are part of the minor officials or an invited class, you will be asked to stay away from the gym area.  There is a spectator cost but not for ELC students therefore you are welcome to come and watch the games after 2pm.

For teachers, later today I will send out an invitation form for classes to register as spectators per period over the 2 days.  Due to an expected high volume of community spectators and teachers and coaches involved with the championship having their classes in the gym, space will be limited. Unfortunately we will not be able to accommodate the demand.  However, all games will be high quality live streamed and accessible to all classes.  Please review your emails this afternoon to book a viewing spot for your class.  Please see me, Mr. Blanchard if you have any questions.

VERY IMPORTANT:  Everyone who has signed up as a minor official, the jazz band and the Cheer team MUST MUST be in the lecture hall at the beginning of lunch for a quick meeting to prepare for Monday.  At the meeting we will discuss the Monday morning Opening Ceremonies and you will be assigned your tasks for the championship.

If anyone has any further questions, please see me throughout the day.  I might not be able to see emails or respond till later tonight.

Thank you again for your support and Crossley Spirit!  This will be another great adventure to add to the 60 year history of E.L. Crossley which as a reminder will be celebrated later this Spring.
