TODAY'S NEWS

Today at lunch in the caf the prom committee will be doing table seating.  BE sure to pick your tables before Wed of next week if you want to sit with your friends.  The second deposit is now live on schools cash online please make your last payment. If you have not bought a ticket or paid for a date but still want to go please email Ms. Yallup asap and she will help you out.

There will be pizza for sale in the caf tomorrow, come and get your hot pizza and support your prom committee.

Grads - don’t forget to nominate the Valedictorian for the class of 2023. The nomination form can be found in the Grade 12 D2L. 

If you are an U18 Pelham Panther hockey player, please see the Grade 12 D2L for a scholarship opportunity or come pick up an application in Guidance.  

CLUBS

Crossley for Christ is meeting in room 214 today. Pizza lunch is being provided. It’s never too late to come. You don’t have to say anything or know anything. Enjoy a short prayer and bring a friend, Make a new friend and enjoy some time in community. See you then.

SPORTS  

Last night, the girl soccer team played at Governor Simcoe. The girls worked and played hard and won 2-1. Goals were scored by Scarlett S. and Julianne M.. Way to go girls. The team plays on Monday on our field at 3 against Eden. Come out and cheer the girls on! 

Track and field athletes had an amazing day yesterday! Ask a friend how well they did at their track and field meet! Lots of personal best results.

There will only be a jumpers practice tonight and anyone who needs the required practice.

Please check the board TODAY for zone postings. No corrections can be made after today.

The varsity boys baseball team played a double header yesterday as part of the 2023 BP High School Classic. The boys got off to an excellent start, defeating Welland Centennial 4-3. After a very short break in between games, the cyclones jumped out to an early lead against AN Myer. After a hard fought 4 innings of baseball, Myer jumped out in front in the bottom of the 5th, taking the game. Our cyclones are back in action this morning against Blessed Trinity.
