Days of Significance:

Grads there are 2 awards of $500 available to E.L. Crossley students: Criteria:  Be a first generation post-secondary student, be a resident of Niagara, be accepted in an undergraduate program and demonstrate financial need. If you meet the criteria, please email Ms. Gibson.  

Are you interested in travelling to Costa Rica next March Break? There is a presentation of the trip tomorrow May 18th at 6:45pm in the Lecture hall. Make sure you and a parent are registered for the session, scan the QR code on the bottom of the poster.

Tonight is the Arts Showcase - where music, drama and art students combine to make magic!  Original Scenes and Songs as well as a few tunes you can sing along to!  There are still limited tickets available - and you can purchase your tickets at the door, or from Ms. Benson in the drama room at lunch.  Tickets are 5$  show starts promptly at 6:30 pm!  

Attention to all grade 11 students.  If you are interested in a 4 period coop next year related to all the trades associated with building a home, then you need to make an appointment with Guidance ASAP to put in an application for next year’s Home Build.  This is an extremely competitive program with limited spots for all DSBN high school students.  Do not delay - make an appointment today for more information.

For students who would like to explore landscape, horticulture and hydroponics through a full day experience, please make an appointment with Guidance asap to apply for the Dig it program next year.  Spots are limited and shared with other DSBN highschool students as well.

Optional student council meeting at lunch today for those who want to work on Cyclone Day

PALS Students - There is a Mandatory Lunch Meeting on Thursday May 18th in Room 306 (Mrs. DiSanto's Room) - to work on the Term Culminating Project. Bring your lunch and some great ideas.

CLUBS

Crossley for Christ is meeting tomorrow at lunch. We are up to 55 people but we can still do more. Bring a friend and bring your lunch. Let's enjoy some great time in community and make some new friends. Meet in room 214.

Attentional all yearbook members! There is an optional productivity party today after school for anyone who can make it! Please find Ms White with any questions!

SPORTS

Congratulations to the entire Track and Field team who crushed the competition yesterday at ZONE. We won ZONE overall as a team. Congratulations to all 70 athletes. We had a lot of personal bests in times, jumps and throws. Too many names to list, so congratulate a friend who competed yesterday. All athletes need to see the PE board with the SOSSA schedule for next week. 

This is a reminder to members of the Varsity Boys Baseball team that you have a brief meeting at the start of lunch in room 406, please see Mr. Petro if you cannot attend. 

ARTS

Could the following vocalists please head down to the drama room after attendance has been taken to rehearse for the Campfire Sessions: Jamie-Lynn Eden, Jenna McNeil, Kaitlyn Furtney. Thank you!

A reminder to all senior drama students that we meet in the drama room for a run-through  - get attendance taken and come straight down.
