Hi there, you cool Crossley cats!
We’re doing a clothing and hygiene material drive for homeless & womens shelters!
Please bring in clothes you and your family/friends no longer want, wear, use, need, or anything you’ve outgrown. We can also use basic hygiene items like toothbrushes, toothpaste, Dental floss , hair brushes, combs, hair elastics, shampoo, conditioner, soap, lip care, deodorant, feminine hygiene products & anything for nail health. If you wish to bring in comfort items (such as stuffed animals) feel free to do so. Please make sure the clothes you bring in are in good condition, and hygiene products are unused. This will be going on until June 15/16th. Please bring in what you can and drop them off to Ms Di Santos room (room 306). This is a great way to help out your community and people who are in a tough situation. Thank you!

Attention to all students who still need volunteer hours.  The EL Crossley 60th anniversary committee is in need of volunteers for a variety of tasks connected with our celebration on June 17th.  Most immediately, volunteers are needed to assemble the display boards with the yearbook photos.  Or maybe you would like to assist with creating the balloon arches, photobooth area, or just want to be a part of the live event.  If you are interested in volunteering please check out the announcement posted in the D2L Student Services class.

SPORTS

Last Thursday, our school hosted SOSSA girls soccer. Our team had an outstanding performance in their first game against a tough St. Francis team. The game was intense and exciting. At the end of regular time, the score was 0-0 and headed into 20 mins of extra action, which ultimately led to a series of penalty kicks. Rylee S., Grace K, Scarlett S., and Eva B. scored. Lily R. had an outstanding performance leading into a beautiful moment with the whole school. The girls moved on to the finals and faced some obstacles. Although we didn’t get the result we wanted, the girls played with so much heart and grit never giving up. They left everything they had out on the field. We want to thank all of our supporters who came out to watch our games and showing so much Crossley Pride. We are very proud of this team and all of the growth that they had.  We want to wish our graduating players all the best next year as they move on. We are already looking forward to next season - the future of girls soccer is very bright. Go Cyclones!
