Today’s News – Today is Back to the Future Day!

Reminder to sign up for late bus at the main office!

Today we welcome our elementary school friends for a soccer festival.  Please remember to stay in the bleachers if you watch any games and the gym foyer is out of bounds today.

There will be a Halloween food drive taking place every day next week, we encourage you to bring in non-perishable food items that will be donated to Pelham Cares, each item that you bring in will count as colour wars point for your grade. You can drop off your food items in the front foyer as you enter the school.

Student council hopes that everyone enjoyed learning during yesterday’s Pronoun Day presentation. Here are some ways you can be aware and more inclusive regarding pronouns! First, when introducing yourself to others, mention what pronouns you use and ask them for theirs! You can also include your pronouns when signing emails, as well as on your social media profile. If you ever notice someone using the wrong pronouns, be sure to kindly correct them. We can all listen and learn from others to make inclusivity a priority.

Grade 12 university bound students are reminded of the announcement in the Grade 12 Only D2L page – PINs are here.  Come get yours from Guidance. You need this before you begin to apply for Ontario universities.
