Today’s News – National Colour Day
Reminder to sign up for late bus at the main office!
If you’re looking to help out and make a difference this Halloween, or if you want to earn colour wars points for your grade, then make sure to bring in non-perishable food items for our food drive next week - Oct. 25 - 29! You’ll be able to drop them off in the school foyer upon entry, and each item you bring in will count as a colour wars point for your grade! All items will be donated to pelham cares.
Student council and the committee for Equity and Inclusion wants to thank you for your time and respect while learning about the importance of pronouns to a person's identity. Remember, pronouns & gender identity are not something just to be recognized this week. There are many different pronouns that people use - if you’re not sure how to use them, just ask!
CLUBS
Attention Musicians- band will rehearse Monday, right after school, until 4pm. We will meet rain or shine because we are now allowed to rehearse indoors! Also, be sure to attend, as Mrs Barber has some exciting performance opportunities to share with you. Remember to bring your instruments and bell covers
SPORTS
Jr girls’ basketball played Westlane secondary school yesterday. Our girls fought hard and played well. They show tenacity and a never give up attitude. Unfortunately, we got into some foul trouble which lead to a close loss, 63-57. Reminder of our game Monday! See Mr. Marquis with any questions.
To all Cross Country runners going to SOSSA, you can pick your ribbons up at practice today or at the front doors at lunch in the main lobby.
