Reminder that tomorrow is our Terry Fox Run! The event will be held outside so make sure to dress for the weather. Also don’t forget to bring in your toonie for our “Toonies for Terry” fundraiser. The grade that raises the most money will win 50 points in the colour wars! See you on the track tomorrow.
CLUBS
Tomorrow after school come to the drama room for IMPROV club! Be amazed at your own and everyone else’s talent! Club will start promptly at 2:30, and finish at 3:45. Come dressed to move!
SPORTS
The Jr girls basketball team played against Greater Fort Erie last night. They played strong offensively and even better defensively! It was a well rounded effort by all and the girls came out with a 44-16 victory! There is No practice after school and instead will practice Wednesday. Great job girls!!!
The Sr. Girls Basketball team took on the Fort Erie Gryphons last night with a very short bench. The game was a great experience for our team, learning to persevere and work together. In the end we were successful winning 45-41. We practice on Wednesday after school and our next game is on Thursday at A. N. Myer.
Attention Boys and Girls Hockey players. There will be an important meeting this WEDNESDAY - tomorrow- at the beginning of lunch on the bleachers in the main gym. Again, there will be an important meeting tomorrow at the beginning of lunch on the bleachers in the main gym, Wednesday.
If you filled out the Google form and want to be part of the hockey season, you must attend this meeting. Failure to do so can jeopardize your spot since we will be limited in the amount of players we can keep. If you didn't fill out the google form, come to the meeting and give your name and information to Mr. Blanchard.
In addition, make sure you are listening to announcements this week for other meetings such as the FITNESS CLUB, BOYS BASKETBALL, GIRLS VOLLEYBALL to start. Other sports and meetings will be scheduled soon. With your cooperation, our hope is to start some of these activities next week. Many students who filled out the Google Athletics form haven't completed the "Permission to Participate in Extra-Curriculars" form in School Cash Online. Please complete this ASAP to be allowed at the first practices. This message does not apply to students who already filled the form out this year. It only needs to be done once for all activities.
