From Student Council: Hey Crossley! Today in front of the school we will be having a pumpkin painting contest! We have three pumpkins per grade and we are looking for volunteers from each grade to compete in our competition. Come on out at the beginning of lunch to either paint a pumpkin or cheer on the students from your grade who are competing in the contest! And tomorrow is the final day of our Halloween spirit week! Dress up in your halloween costume or wear orange and black. You will have an opportunity to show off your wicked costumes at our annual Halloween costume contest that will be held outside in front of our school. We have several categories for winning costumes, with prizes and points to colours up for grabs! So make sure to stop by at lunch to show off your awesome costumes or cheer on your classmates. See you all there!
Hey Cyclones, just wanted to send out a big thank you from the business leadership class for coming out for our Terry Fox Run. As a school we were able to raise over $1000 for cancer research! An even bigger shout out to our grade 10s for raising the most money, and Ms. Whites’ class for being our top fundraiser! You have won 50 points for your grade in colour wars! If anyone would still like to donate we will be collecting Toonies until this Friday.

Yearbook News! At lunch today and Friday, everyone is welcome to come on down to the Halloween Photo Booth in the Front Lobby! Come show off your costumes or Orange and Black wear, pose with your friends, and get some pics of your Crossley Halloween Spirit!
SPORTS
Any boys interested in joining the Intramural Hockey League but did not attend the meeting yesterday are to see Mr. Lew in room 312 to get a form. Your permission forms and fees should be handed in through School Cash Online by the end of the week. We can confirm that we will be starting the intramurals next week! The Grade 11 and 12 boys will play on Monday @ 3:00pm and the Grade 9 and 10 boys will play on Thursday @ 2:45pm. Please see Mr. Lew or Mr. Blanchard if you have any questions.
