SPORTS
Congratulations to the entire Cross Country team who competed at SOSSA yesterday in Dundas. Our 6 teams of 30 athletes all gave it their best effort. The conditions were muddy, windy, cold and wet. Crossley endured this by having 8 athletes advance to OFSAA at Lakefield School next weekend. Crossley had 3 individuals make it on and 1 team. Matthew K. ran an amazing 5km race and got GOLD in his race! Lauren F. had an excellent performance and placed 4th in her 6km race. Our captain Adam K. for the senior boys placed 3rd in his 6km race. The Novice Boys team placed 2nd overall and had outstanding performances by Max M. who finished 4th, Jackson S. who finished 5th, Ryan Z., Benjamin H. and Justin E. who all ran very well. Well done to all the runners who ran yesterday! That was an experience never to forget.

A reminder to all boys interested in playing hockey this year to submit your Athletic permission forms and money through School Cash Online.  This must be done before you step on the ice next week.  Senior Boys, your first ice time is Monday at 3:00pm at the Meridan Community Centre.  Junior Boys, your first ice time is Thursday at 2:45pm.  If you have not received an information package, please see Mr. Lew in room 312.

The Jr girls basketball team travelled to AN Myer last night, where they battled hard and showed a great effort. The team showed resilience being down early but bringing it back to within striking distance but unfortunately fell short losing 39-58. Reminder that our next practice is Tuesday afterschool. See Mr. Marquis with any questions.

The Sr. The Girls Basketball Team traveled to AN Myer yesterday to continue our league play. We had a good team effort as we defeated Myer 66-38. We practice on Tuesday after school and will finish our regular season on Wednesday when we play Saint Jean de Berbuef.
