Band members are reminded about today’s very important rehearsal after school until 4PM. All those heading to Canada’s Wonderland tomorrow must be in attendance - (those not coming to Wonderland may come to rehearsal next week). Be prepared to head outside if the weather is good.
Hey cyclones, It’s that exciting time of year again. ELC will be participating in its annual holiday cheer! Bring your items to your first period class!
The Oddity Film Society will be watching Frank after school today in the lecture hall.
SPORTS
There will be a meeting tomorrow at lunch in the gym for both junior and senior girls who are interested in playing girls volleyball this season.
Congratulations to the Junior Boys Volleyball team. On Friday they defeated A. N. Myer of Niagara Falls to be crowned Zone Champs. They defeated Myer 3 sets to 1, coming from behind 16 to 9 in the first set. Good luck at SOSSA next week. Boys, you do not have practice today. Your next practice is tomorrow, on Tuesday.
Reminder to all novice rowers that there is practice on Tuesday and Thursday of this week right after school starting at 2.20pm. Meet in the athletic foyer and dress for inside and outside training. If you are attending another team or club practice feel free to join us afterwards for some technical work on the ergometers. Strive to make both practices. Perseverance helps us to get it; consistency helps us to keep it. Go blue and gold!
All boys basketball players - please note the change that we will run a combined Jr & Sr session tonight 7-8:30pm…that’s both groups of boys from 7-8:30 tonight!
Intramural hockey, The season starts today with blue playing orange at 3:00pm. Gray plays against yellow on Thursday at 2:45. If you were not at the draft please see Mr. Lew at lunch today for a schedule. All forms and fees must be submitted before you step on the ice.
Game Day! Your JR Girls basketball team plays their semi- final game against Saint-Jean Brebeuf. Come out and support your fellow cyclones for a 3pm start.
