Welcome Back Cyclones, we are happy you are here.
Upon our most recent return to in-person learning, there are several updated & enhanced safety protocols for us to review and you to follow.
1. When you arrive to school, you must go immediately to your locker, drop off what you need to drop off and then pick up whatever materials you need for the morning, You then go directly to your classroom, teachers will be there to welcome you into the class at 7:55, until then you must wait outside your classroom door.
Please follow this method – we are allowing you into the school early to save you from waiting outside – but for this to work we need all of your cooperation
2. There can be absolutely no congregating or grouping in the halls or bathrooms.
3. We will return to a staggered dismissing for lunch & end of day busses. Don’t worry seniors – you will get your turn to go first! Teachers please keep your students in your classes until you hear the dismissal over the announcements.
4. The main cafeteria has been assigned to grade 9 & 10 student. The small gym is now the grade 11 & 12 café. In both these areas only 4 students to a table. You are not allowed to move chairs in any way - only 4 students to a table.
5. Finally, after months of masking protocols – you all know what the expectation is to be an in-person learner – You must wear your mask properly all day long. Your mask must cover both your mouth and nose – all day long except for when you are drinking or having lunch/snack. If you fail to do this, you will be asked to learn from home. Please do your best to keep yourself and our school safe.
6. Student before you arrive to school, or take the bus, you must be completing the new and updated Covid Self assessment
7. Please do not come to school if you are experiencing any of the symptoms
8. Thank you for cooperation and following these enhanced safety protocols to KEEP all of us safe.
