New Students Semester 2 picture Day will take place Thursday February 17

CLUBS

The Board Game club is opening its doors at lunch today. We will get Gloomhaven up and running as well as some other games. We are located in the little room at the back of the library. 

There will be a meeting for the Oddity Film Society at the beginning of lunch today in room 305. All members of The Oddity Film Society and new members come to 305 at lunch today. 

Attention all yearbook members! Please use your phones to take photos of your classmates during spirit week! The more photos the better! We will have a meeting at lunch on Thursday, new members are always welcome!

Attention Q and A members. We will be meeting in room 310 today for our guest speaker from Quest. 

Today is twin day! Could period 1 teachers please complete the google form to record the number of students per grade who are participating in twin day. A reminder that tomorrow is colour wars day - so grade 9’s wear red, grade 10’s wear yellow, grade 11’s wear green and grade 12’s wear blue. Today during period 4 we will also be having a short class competition - Period 4 teachers - please find the required answer sheet in your mailbox prior to the start of period 4!

Grade 11’s are in the lead with 114 points
Grade 9’s are in second with 82 points
Grade 12’s are in a close third with 73 points
And the grade 10’s are extremely close with 71 points

- We will update points everyday this week - today you will have two chances to earn points for your grade! Remember the prize is to be released from class first all of next week! 

SPORTS

Novice rowers are reminded of practice today after school. These practices are important preparations for upcoming racing so it is very important to attend. You are doing a great job. Keep up the good work and see you soon. Go blue and gold!

There will be a quick meeting for the girl’s hockey team in room 318 at lunch today.
