Hello cyclones, today is our colour wars day - Could period 1 teachers please go into the ELC staffroom and complete the google form to indicate the number of students wearing their grade colour - Grade 9’s are in red, 10’s are in yellow, 11’s are in green and 12’s have blue!
Today during period 4 there will be a short class competition. Teachers - the link to the competition will be loaded into the ELC staff room at the start of period 4 today. Students who are on spare period 4 can go to Mrs. Ranieri in room 308 to participate in this competition!
A reminder that tomorrow is tourist day tourist day and Thursday will be green day as it will be one week before St. Patrick's day.
There will be a yearbook photo book tomorrow so come dressed in your best Tacky Tourist outfits!
ATTENTION ALL STUDENTS! 2021-2022 yearbooks are now available to order through school cash online. Photos from grade day to game day to graduation will be included. Don’t miss the opportunity to buy a keepsake of the year.

SPORTS
Track & Field:
Track and Field practices are starting after March Break. Wednesday March 23rd will be our first practice which will be indoors. Make sure you have running shoes. If you are interested then sign up in the Gym Foyer on the sign up lists with the events you may be interested in. There are no try outs, you make the team by being at practices.
Girls Hockey- Reminder to all members of the girl hockey team of our game Championship game on Wednesday against AN Meyer. You will be dismissed after the third period. Good luck tomorrow girls!
Novice Rowers- please attend Tuesday and Thursday practices this week. If unable to attend please go to a Wednesday or Friday practice. Water season is soon upon us so consistent practice is important. Go blue and gold.
Yesterday afternoon, the Jr. Boys’ Basketball team traveled to take on top ranked A.N. Myer in the zone semi final. The boys fought hard and kept the game close going into the second half. Mr. Petro and Mr. Harris are proud of the sportsmanship and dedication the boys’ showed throughout the game.
