Attention Cyclones! Are you looking to become a leader? Would you like to grow yourself as an individual in a short period of time, create a project to help your community, meet similar-minded individuals AND get volunteer hours for it? Well, look no further! E.L Crossley has a brand new leadership opportunity. Presented by the Believe Initiative, the Believe Leadership Course is a 9-week leadership course that will teach you core principles needed to become a leader, such as confidence, resilience, discipline and of course, leadership, all while building out your own Passion Project! Come to room 205, on Wednesday March 30 for our info session! Learn about this amazing opportunity that we are so excited to bring to Crossley! See you there!

CLUBS

The Oddity Film Society will be watching Alex Garland’s Ex Machina today after school in room 305. Stop by and have your mind bent. 

Robotics/RC/Model builders club resumes this week on Thursday. The Club meets every Thursday in room 103 (Mr. Belding’s room)  after school until 3:45. Anyone is welcome!

SPORTS

Attention all Badminton players.  Tryouts and playdowns will start this Wednesday and Friday after school.  They will continue next Monday and the team must be completed by next Wednesday.  Morning practices are available for extra training. The first competition for all 3 age groups (novice -grade 9, junior-grade 10 and senior-grade 11 and 12) is April 12th at EL Crossley.  There is a 5 practice minimum to compete. See Mr. Blanchard if you have any questions. 

Track & Field
Yes there is practice today after school. New comers are always welcome. Practice is from 2:20-4pm. All indoor practices this week. We are meeting in the small gym today. Tuesday and Thursday Pole Vault will be introduced. Discus and Javelin will also be introduced this week. Hurdles will be introduced on Wednesday. High Jump will be practiced on Thursday.  Distance runners can start going outside for practices starting tomorrow. Be dressed properly.

Attention intramural hockey players.  Playoffs are this week with Blue vs. Orange today at 3:00pm in the consolation final.  The championship final will be on Thursday at 2:45 between Yellow and Grey.

Attention Crossley rowers. If Mother Nature is kind to us we hope to be on the water by the end of the week. In order for that to happen, it is important that you continue to attend practice consistently and communicate. Golden waters and blue skies await. Regular practice schedule this week including a Total Team workout on Thursday and on Friday a 6k Erg Challenge for experienced rowers and a 4K Erg Challenge for Novices. You will see how much you have G-ROW-n! If you have to miss any practice , be sure to get to an alternate practice as a makeup. Racing season is around the corner!
