The girls soccer team had an awesome start to their season defeating port Colborne 2-0 yesterday afternoon in less than ideal weather conditions. The win was a team effort - Goals scored by Chiara D. and Rylee S. Lily R. had some amazing saves. Way to go girls! A reminder that we have practice tonight right after school.
Yesterday was the Badminton Sossa Championship in Jordan. Crossley was represented by Cole B. in the Boys Singles High School Division. Cole needed to beat the Open division champion to move on to Ofsaa. Knowing what was on the line and being a huge underdog to the powerful Open player, Cole turned on his inner Super Smash and Happy Feet powers and crushed his opponent 21-12, 21-10 qualifying to OFSAA next week in Chatham. Way to go Cole and the entire team that trained with Cole to get him to OFSAA!
