This is the last week to buy your yearbook! You can purchase the memento of the year through school cash online until the end of the month! Remember there are photos of clubs, sports, and events for grade 9-12s

Tomorrow is the last day to bring in your permission form to attend the careers in the marine industry conference. Again, bus and lunch provided.  Lots of amazing jobs on those large boats that go through the canal. Plan to attend to learn more.  See Guidance for permission form.

CLUBS

Yearbook members, we have a meeting at lunch today in room 209!

There is math help at lunch today in room 313 with Mr. Lew.

SPORTS

Track and Field athletes need to have their forms and money handed in at the track by 8am.  Also check the phys ed board for reminders of what to pack for cold temperatures at our meet tomorrow, take a picture. You need to get a singlet and stickers today, tomorrow is too late in order to compete. Also, if you are interested in ordering a Track & Field hoodie, it is opened up again until next Wednesday.

Attention all girls who signed up for softball!  There is a mandatory meeting in room 112 after school on Thursday. If you cannot attend you need to speak to Mr Smith or Mr Belding. There will be a practice following the meeting however if you have commitments to another sport you do not need to attend the practice.  We need to finalize our team for the tournament upcoming in may.

The girls soccer team had an awesome start to their season defeating port Colborne 2-0 yesterday afternoon in less than ideal weather conditions.  The win was a team effort - Goals scored by Chiara D. and Rylee S. Lily R. had some amazing saves. Way to go girls! A reminder that we have practice tonight right after school.

Yesterday was the Badminton Sossa Championship in Jordan.  Crossley was represented by Cole B. in the Boys Singles High School Division.  Cole needed to beat the Open division champion to move on to Ofsaa.  Knowing what was on the line and being a huge underdog to the powerful Open player, Cole turned on his inner Super Smash and Happy Feet powers and crushed his opponent 21-12, 21-10 qualifying to OFSAA next week in Chatham. Way to go Cole and the entire team that trained with Cole to get him to OFSAA!
