You will notice that our flag is lowered this weekend to mark Police and Peace Officers’ National Memorial Day. The official memorial day is September 25.
Today is Western Day! Could all period 1 teachers count and record the number of students in their classes who are wearing anything western theme related! Student council would like to thank all students who have participated in our first spirit week - we are excited to continue this tradition throughout the school year! Today in period 4 you will be competing in our final competition for the week - teachers are reminded to get the answer sheet from staffroom mailbox to be able to participate in this game! More information will come during period 4 today.
CLUBS
Chess Club members who are interested in participating in our tournament next week at Eastdale, are asked to please bring their forms to Mrs Bhan today in room 313. Our next chess club will run on Tuesday in room 313, not the library, for all interested players, not just tournament participants.
The Oddity Film Society will have a short meeting during lunch today in room 305. Please stop by for some movie watching updates.
SPORTS
There will be a senior boys VB practice after school.
ARTS
Just a reminder, Marching Band will be starting after school on Monday at 2:15 in the music room. If you are interested in joining, see you at Monday’s rehearsal!
