Attention to all students requesting Guidance appointments - now that class changes have been made, in an attempt to reduce the number of disruptions to classes, a Guidance Appointment time will be sent to your DSBN email. Check this for the date and time of your Guidance appointment - be sure to show your teacher.
Grade 11 and 12 students are reminded that if they wish to attend a post secondary visit, they must sign up at least 24 hours in advance of the visit. The form for signing up is in the Google calendar by school. Please do not delay.
Attention graduating students. Next Monday, October 3rd- graduation appointments with a member of Guidance begin. Students are reminded to request an appointment through the link found at the BOTTOM of the Grade 12 only D2L class. At this time, only 10 students have requested an appointment, this is far fewer than normal. Please book an appointment soon.
Friday is National Day for Truth and Reconciliation and we would like to encourage everyone to wear orange as we reflect on the children who were lost in the residential school system and honour the survivors and their families.
SPORTS
Reminder to the Jr. Girls basketball team of their game tonight against Heritage Christian. Please meet in the gym foyer after school.
Good luck to the Jr. Boys Volleyball team who will be in action this afternoon at Westlane. Boys, you are reminded that we are meeting in the gym foyer immediately after school.
Attention all Golfers, if you are new to the sport and interested in a skills session, meet today after school in the main gym for our first Golf Club meeting. No equipment is necessary but we will be going outside so please dress appropriately. See Mr. “300 Yard” Blanchard if you have any questions.
