The Q and A club will be meeting today, and every Thursday, at lunch in room 206. All members of the LGBTQ+ community and allies are welcome.
Just a reminder - as addressed at the ski/snowboard club meeting on Wednesday: An email was sent yesterday to all Crossley households asking for interested families to complete the Google form. This is only step one in the registration process. Only those families who completed the Google form will be emailed details as to the remaining steps in the registration process.
The Oddity Film Society will record its first podcast after school today in room 305, let’s chat pop culture.
SPORTS
Congratulations to the Sr. Girls Basketball team on their outstanding play in defeating the SWC team 36 to 19. We have moved to the Consolation SemiFinals today at Governor Simcoe tip off is at 4:00 pm as we take on the Thorold Eagles. Come cheer on our Lady Cyclones as we push to the Championship game. GO CYCLONES!
The Jr. Boys Volleyball team was in action yesterday afternoon at Centennial. The boys left it all on the court, losing a heartbreaker 28-26, 26-24. Coach Petro and Coach Shannon are extremely proud of the way the boys fought throughout the match and look forward to a potential rematch in the future. Boys, you have practice after school.
As the end of the week approaches, so does the end of the dodgeball tournament. Today and tomorrow are the last chances to take the winning title. The teams going into the semi-finals today are posted on the schedules in the gym foyer. Wish them luck!
