Students going on the SHSM Business Trip to Brock University today need to come down to the foyer outside the main office after the announcements. Our taxis are leaving at 8:15.

CLUBS

The Chess Club will be meeting today at lunch in the library. Everyone is welcome! If you are interested in playing in our next tournament or purchasing a chess team t-shirt, you should attend today’s meeting in the library. See Mrs Bhan if you have any questions.

The Oddity Film Society will begin celebrating Spooktober with the classic experimental film, The Blair Witch Project. We will see you in the Lecture Hall after school today. 

SPORTS

Attention all hockey players.  The Crossley Intramural Hockey league will be starting up next Monday and Thursday.  There will be an information session Today at lunch in the Lecture Hall.  You MUST attend to get  permission forms and be added to School Cash online.  See Mr. Lew or Mr. Blanchard if you have any questions.

A Big Congratulations to the Jr. Girls basketball team on their Championship Victory at the Thorold Secondary Classic. The girls played Sir Winston Churchill in the finals. The game got off to a fiesty start with us up 16-10 at half. The girls finished strong and showed tenacity to go on to a 25-14 win and grabbing that championship t shirt! The team is reminded of their game after school here at ELC against St. Jean Brebreuf. See Mr. Marquis or Mrs. Feiertag if you have any questions. 

Good luck to the Jr. and Sr. Boys Volleyball teams who are in action this afternoon at Saint-Jean-de-Brebeuf.

Come cheer on the Jr. & Sr. Girls Basketball teams tonight as they take on Saint Jean de Brebeuf here in the main gym. Do not forget to buy your buy-in tickets for Wednesday’s Sr. Girls game as we kick off the Niagara College Girls Hoops Classic here at Crossley. The games start at 12:30, come support your Lady CYCLONES!! Tickets will be available in the front foyer today at lunch only!
