Today is the Niagara College Fair- students who have brought their permission form in are to be down to the front foyer for 9:50am today. You must have returned a signed permission form in order to board the bus.
Attention Grade 9 Students - Take Our Kids To Work Day is being held on November 2. The information and permission forms have been emailed home. Please print and return the completed form by October 21st to your Period 1 teacher.
Did you know that Wed. Oct. 19 is International Pronouns Day? International Pronouns Day seeks to make respecting, sharing, and educating about personal pronouns commonplace.Referring to people by the pronouns they determine for themselves is basic to human dignity. Being referred to by the wrong pronouns particularly affects transgender and gender nonconforming people. Together, we can transform society to celebrate people’s multiple, intersecting identities.
Get ready Cyclones! It has been 4 years of waiting but This Friday, Oct 21st we are having a full school Pep Rally!! We are having a huge Crossley Spirit Day so get out your Blue, Yellow and Gold. During period 2 the entire school will be celebrating all Crossley teams and clubs and then cheering on your Intramural Ultimate Frisbee Champs against the Teachers!
Every club and team member is to check with their teacher advisor or coach to find out what they need to prepare for. Teachers, you are reminded to fill out the Google Forms for your club or team by Wednesday. Supplies for your club/team are in the co-op office.
Today is the day!!! Semi tickets go on sale today! Our annual Semi formal is going to be on Thursday November 17th at Club Roma. The event will start at 5:30 and finish by 9:30. Tickets are $40, are available to EL Crossley students only and can only be purchased through school cash online. Tickets will remain on sale until Wednesday October 26th

Do you love Chess? Do you love Crossley shirts? The Chess Team is getting Crossley Chess shirts! Order forms are now available. See Mrs Bhan in room 313 for your form. We will also be attending our next tournament at the end of October at AN Myer. See Mrs Bhan for a participation form for the tournament as well.
The Oddity Film Society will have a very quick meeting at the beginning of lunch today in room 305. Film fans assemble in room 305 at the beginning of lunch.

Attention Swimmers! We have details! Informational meeting with all the required forms will be today at lunch in 201. You must be there; we will start this week so it’s a quick turn around.
Attention all Intramural Hockey Players. Your first games are this week! Seniors play TODAY at 2:45pm and Juniors play Thursday at 2:45pm. You must have all forms and fees submitted before you step on the ice. If you still wish to join and need an information package please see Mr. Lew or Mr. Blanchard.
Congratulations to the Sr. Girls basketball team who competed in the Niagara College Hoops Classic last week. We had an excellent tournament losing out to a tough AN Myer team, we led for most of the game running out of steam in the fourth quarter. We had an excellent effort from all players. Reminder about our next game on Wednesday against the squad from West Niagara.
Today in intramural lunch time action- the final ultimate frisbee game will take place in the large gym. A reminder to all students interested in the series of Survivor competitions to sign-up on the whiteboard by the gym- Survivor Team competitions start tomorrow at lunch.
