An update about Semi tickets - tickets remain on sale for $40 each until Wednesday October 26th. Our dinner and dance will be held at Club Roma on Thursday November 17th from 5:30 - 9:30 and tickets are only available to EL Crossley students through school cash online. If you purchased a ticket yesterday - your ticket is valid - there is no need to purchase a second ticket. Please note that if you did not check off all items on the checklist yesterday when you purchased your ticket - you still agreed to ALL of the terms and conditions of attending semi when you added the ticket to the cart on school cash online. If there are any dietary concerns OR if you are not able to make it to semi before 6pm, please see Mrs. Varga in room 113 or send her an email.  We are looking forward to a great evening with all of you there!

CLUBS

The chess club will be meeting today in the library. If you are interested in participating in the tournament at the end of October, or if you are interested in buying a chess club shirt please attend today’s meeting or see Mrs Bhan in room 313. All levels are welcome! 

The Q and A club will be meeting TODAY at lunch in room 306 to finish making bracelets and buttons for Pronoun day. 

The Oddity Film Society continues Spooktober with Donnie Darko. Stop by and become acquainted with costar Frank the Bunny. 

SPORTS

To all girls trying out for hockey correction to tryout times, we are having tryouts Tue and Wed after school this week and Wed next week see Ms. Yallup in room 318 if you have any questions or cannot make a tryout.

A reminder that Intramural Hockey has started this week.  Juniors, your first ice time is this Thursday at 2:45pm.  Please make sure that you have your forms and fees submitted before stepping on the ice.  Its not too late to join if you are interested.  Please see Mr. Lew or Mr. Blanchard to get an information package.

Congratulations to the Jr Girls basketball team on their win against Smithville Christian High School! They overcame a slow start and came out flying in the second quarter, where they built a sizable lead and never looked back! The girls are reminded of their practice today and their game tomorrow. 

Are you strategic? a good team member? Can you flip a cup like a champ or eat a cookie without our hands? It is not too late to sign up in a team of 6 for the survivor competitions. Survivor team challenges start in the gym today at lunch - all teams are to come each day as this is a non-elimination competition. The leadership class is excited to see competitors and spectators there!
