So don’t worry if you lose your first game. Sign up before Friday at lunch in the gym foyer with your team of 4!

The Sr. Girls Basketball team also hosted West Niagara last night.  It was a back and forth game that saw the Cyclones hold the lead with a few minutes left in the game.  In a turn of events, West Niagara took the lead with 8 seconds left in the game.  It was tense!  The ladies pushed down the court, drew a foul and made a clutch free throw with 1 second on the clock to tie the game, sending it to overtime.  In overtime your cyclones were just too much for West Niagara and ended up with a huge victory 46 - 42.  The coaches would like to congratulate the team on the victory and for showing our E.L. Crossley class, not retaliating to West Niagara’s physical play that crossed the line and earned them two technical fouls in overtime.  This patience and self control were key to our victory and the reason we are smiling today.  Way to ‘Keep it classy’.  The girls head to Port Colborne today to take on the Bears.  Please dismiss the girls at 1:45 pm.
