SPORTS
4on4 intramural volleyball - there is NO volleyball today at lunch, resumes on Thursday.
There will be sign ups tomorrow for the new activity for next week for intramurals.
Cross-Country:
A reminder to all cross-country runners that you must return your competition singlet to Mr. Edwards A.S.A.P. Hold on to them if you are running at OFSAA this Saturday and return early next week. A final run Fun Night will occur this Thursday after school. Come out to run, earn points towards the end of season auction and have fun together one last time!
Badminton Club:
Starting November 9th from 6 - 8 pm, students interested in playing badminton with Crossley friends old and new are invited to our gyms for recreational play.
Mr. Edwards will supervise these two hours each Wednesday evening until early May. It gives you an opportunity for free activity and badminton shot practice once a week leading up to the School Team Tryouts in late February and Early March. See you on the courts every Wednesday starting next week. We have some equipment, bring yours if you have some. Come prepared in proper athletic attire for a smashing good time!
A reminder to the Intramural Hockey League that the Orange Team faces off against the Grey team tomorrow at 2:45pm.
Attention members of the Jr. Boys’ Volleyball team, you have a brief meeting in room 406 at the start of lunch. Please see Mr. Petro or Mr. Shannon if you cannot attend.
ARTS
This weekend, a talented group of performers from E.L. Crossley will be on the stage at the Meridian Community Centre in Pelham. They are part of the ensemble cast of an original stage play called "Stories Found". Together with seniors from our community, they will be slipping in and out of multiple roles as they are transported through a little antique shop to bring memories back to life. Get out to enjoy the show, and support E.L. Crossley students in the performance arts. Tickets for shows next weekend, November 5th and November 6th, can be purchased online, by calling 905-732-7888, or at the Information Desk at the Meridian Community Centre.
