TODAYS NEWS

Tonight is the night!! Semi has arrived! Doors will open at 5:30 and dinner will be served at 6pm. Please make sure you have a ride home by 9:30pm. If you have not already picked up your semi ticket please see Mrs. Varga in room 113. Table assignments have been set and are final. It is extremely important that you do not move chairs from one table to another tonight. The DJ is ready, the hall is decorated and the food is being prepared - lets show Club Roma that the EL Crossley Cyclones are responsible, respectful, kind and fun students! See you there Cyclones!  

CLUBS

Attention Cyclones! The Squad is returning. What is the Squad you ask? 
The squad is a group of students that help around the school, setting up for things like assemblies, parents night, and other gatherings. We help where needed. The squad also helps with things like sound/lighting and other AV tech around the school.
What are the benefits of joining the squad?
-Leadership opportunities
-Meeting new friends
-Pizza lunches   
-Cool swag
If you or a friend are interested in joining the Squad, please come to a meeting in room 207 (Mr. Lafferty’s classroom) this Friday at lunch.

The Oddity Film Society podcast is canceled for today and will make it up next Thursday. Go make yourselves gorgeous for the Semi. 

SPORTS  

Intramural badminton has something new today with single elimination tournament style to 11 points.  Check to see when you are playing today. It will be completed by Friday.

Cyclones there is a new intramural game coming next week starting monday! It is an Individual Basketball Shooting competition. It’ll take place during lunch in the main gym. Sign up sheets are in the gym foyer, Sign up now!

A big congratulations to the Jr Girls Basketball team on their win last night. They are now the Zone 3 Champions!!!! Woooo! The girls came out fast and played hard. A reminder to the Girls of their Sossa Championship on Tuesday at Heritage Christian School. There will be a practice Monday After school. 

Our Senior Boys volleyball team is competing at SOSSA this morning.  Let’s send them some Blue and Gold energy!!!!  Let’s go Crossley!!!!

A reminder to the intramural Hockey players that the Blue team plays against the Gray team.

Any boys interested in trying out for the Basketball team, an opportunity has come up for a drop in session today after school.  In the big gym 2:15 - 4 pm if you can make it.
