Every year the Ontario Secondary School Teachers Federation holds the Student Achievement Awards contest. This creative arts and writing competition is meant to encourage the intellectual development of students and an interest in society. This year Crossley has three students moving forward to regionals: Clair Anderson, Adria Hartley and Jessica Ormel.

Attention all grade 12s who are still in need of volunteer hours.- We need you.  Next Thursday, December 1 is our grade 8 open house and we need Crossley ambassadors to act as tour guides.  If interested, sign up via the link in your Grade 12 only D2L class.

CLUBS

Attention Chess-letes! Chess Team terms are here! Anyone who ordered a chess shirt and has not yet picked it up, is asked to come to Mrs Bhan’s room 313 sometime today to get it. Thanks!

The Oddity Film Society will be recording its podcast on Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind today after school. Come share your thoughts. 

SPORTS  

All junior girls interested in playing volleyball this season, our next tryout will be Monday right after school in the big gym. Please see Ms. Di Santo in room 306 if you cannot attend. 

There will be a senior girls volleyball TRY-OUT on Monday after school.  Please email Ms. Gibson if you cannot attend.  

A reminder to the Intramural Hockey players that the Orange team plays the Gray team tomorrow at 2:45.  Next week the Yellow team will play the Gray team on Monday and the Orange team will play the Blue team on Thursday.

Reminder to all novice rowers of our practice today after school meet in the gym foyer. Newcomers welcome.

Attention all students interested in trying out for the Sr. Boys Basketball Team. Tryouts will start on Monday at 4:00 pm. Please see Mr. Petro in room 406 if you have any questions.
