TODAYS NEWS

Attention all grade 11s & 12s who are still in need of volunteer hours.- We need you.  This Thursday, December 1 is our grade 8 open house and we need Crossley ambassadors to act as tour guides.  If interested, sign up via the link in your Grade class in D2L.

Grade 12s - open house season is done. If you are ready to apply to university, you must have a PIN to do so. Please come down to pick this up from Guidance.

If there are any students interested in learning more about Queen’s university, please remember to sign up for the presentation that takes place this Thursday, December 1st.

CLUBS

This is a reminder that there will be a LINK CREW lunch meeting tomorrow in the gym.  

Attention Athletic Council: There is a very important meeting today at the beginning of lunch in the gym foyer.  IMPORTANT: IT’S PICTURE DAY! We will be planning the grade 8 night this Thursday and we need everybody on board.  We must also start planning for the new season starting next week.  Please see Mr. Blanchard if you have any questions.

SPORTS

There is a senior girls volleyball tryout today after school.  Please see Coach Gibson or Coach Kropac if you cannot attend.

A huge shout out to the Senior Boys volleyball team who had an amazing OFSAA experience this weekend.  The team represented our school with pride and were true E.L. Crossley ambassadors.  The team ended up on the consolation side of the tournament after a tough day 1 of competition.  The team went on to a semi-final match where they came up just short in a barn burner 5 set match.  Thank you to our whole ELC extended family for their support this season.

Attention all students interested in trying out for the Sr. Boys Basketball team, there will be a tryout at 4 PM in the large gym today after school. Please let Mr. Petro know if you cannot attend.

Attention all Jr. Boys Volleyball players, this is a reminder to please return your jerseys today to Mr. Petro or Mr. Shannon.   

Intramural 3 on 3 basketball starts today. Every team is playing today so meet in the gym to know who you are playing.

Attention CIHL (Crossley Intramural Hockey League) captains, managers and players.  Due to recent injuries, we are short on goaltenders.  If you are interested in joining the league as a goaltender, we desperately need you to continue the league. Please see Mr. Blanchard today. 

ARTS

Marching Band members have a week off as there is no rehearsal today. Please check Google Classroom for information.
