TODAYS NEWS

DOOR DECORATING
Deck the halls with… does anyone hear that?? That's right Crossley, door decorating is making its way here! Start brainstorming your ideas with your PERIOD 3 CLASS. If needed, materials can be found in resource (room 308) or in room 113 starting Friday Dec 16 during period 3. Judging of doors will happen on Thursday December 22nd! Prizes will include a Pizza party for first place, Timbits and hot chocolate for second place and  Timbits for third place. May the best door win… Happy decorating!!
 
Just hear those sleigh bells ringing for tonight’s Music Department Holiday Concert. The show starts at 7p.m. Come out and support our musicians. You won’t want to miss this evening of festive fun!
 

CLUBS

Yearbook members! Today is the day! Please come to Mr. Middletons room after school for the productivity party. We look forward to seeing you there! 
 
Chess Club - Unfortunately there will no longer be a chess club meeting today. Chess club is canceled for this week. Looking forward to seeing everyone next week on Tuesday, all are welcome. Again, no chess club today.
 
Robotics/Model Builders
Robotics/model builders club is canceled for tonight. We will meet next wednesday. Again, robotics is cancelled for tonight.

SPORTS

Yesterday the Varsity Boys Hockey team took on Thorold in their first season game.  They got out to an early lead with goals by Cole B. and Brodie M..  Strong defence and solid goaltending from Ryan L. allowed the team to add to their lead with goals from Josh D. and Riley R.  to give them a 4-2 victory.  The team plays Centennial next Tuesday at home at 1:45pm.

A reminder to all intramural hockey players that tomorrow the Gray team takes on the Orange team.

Reminder that intramural 3 mat soccer resumes tomorrow at lunch.

ARTS

All instrumentalists are asked to meet at the beginning of period 3 in the music room, grab your instruments and head to the gym for our rehearsal.
