TODAYS NEWS

Monday January 16th is vaccination day for school students if you or your parents received an immunization notice from public health in the mail.  Please remember to bring in your personal immunization record, the yellow card, have breakfast, a snack, and wear a short sleeved shirt.

E.L. Crossley is offering extra homework and assignment help every Tuesday and Thursday afterschool for the remainder of this semester.  Mr.  Yando and Mr. Leone will be working with students in the library afterschool on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 4 pm.  This is a great opportunity to get additional support in any of your courses. Everyone is welcome!

Students who have requested a Guidance appointment, are reminded to check their DSBN emails. If you miss an appointment, you will have to wait until we get back to you. Many appointment requests are currently in the queue so it is suggested you do not forget to check your email.  Put this in your calendar. Also, if your appointment request is about courses for next year, be sure to do some research before your appointment.

CLUBS

There will be a meeting of the prom committee today at lunch in room 318, any grade twelve is welcome to attend.

This is a reminder that there are no student council meetings for the month of January. We will see everyone once again in February!

SPORTS  

Great lunchtime activities with kan jam yesterday.  Attention students who want to get active at lunch- the leadership class is running spike ball in the big gym today. Grab your running shoes and come join the fun!

A big shout out to all the students who bought into the Sr. Boys Basketball game yesterday afternoon! With the support of the school, the boys took care of business against Westlane, advancing to the quarterfinal tonight against Notre Dame. Tip off is set for 8:00 pm at Notre Dame.
