Breakfast Club every morning in Rm 101.

On Tues. March 7, the DSBN is hosting a regional job fair. There will be roughly 45 employers from different sectors looking to fill all types of jobs. There will be a bus transporting students from Crossley to the event. If you are interested in attending please go to student services to pick up a permission form. Priority will be given to grade 12 students. Last year, many students walked away from the event with employment. 

Reminder that there is pizza for sale in the cafeteria this Friday 2 slices for $3.  Bring your loonies and toonies to support your prom committee.

CLUBS

Attention YEARBOOK MEMBERS! Our productivity party is TODAY AFTER SCHOOL IN ROOM 209! Ms White and Ms White will see you there after school. 

Congratulations to the Chess Team members who participated in the Laura Secord Chess Tournament last week. Crossley had a strong showing with 13 chess-letes participating, some veterans and some new to the team! Crossley did awesome and placed top 10 in all divisions. Thanks to all students who participated.

SPORTS

Good luck to the Sr. Boys Basketball team who compete in the Zone Final today after school in the large gym. Come out and support our Cyclones, as they look to defeat the Welland Centennial Cougars and advance to the SOSSA championship. 

Badminton  Just a little reminder that the badminton club, which is open to all Crossley students, runs tonight in both gyms from 6 - 8 pm.

Reminder to the girl’s hockey team that the bus leaves today for our game in Grimsby at 1:00 meet in the lobby after period 3.

Reminder to those swimmers attending OFSAA, please remember to meet with Ms. Amadio today at the start of lunch–yes, there are more forms!

Reminder to the junior boys basketball team to hand in jerseys to Mr. Leone before the end of day today!

Golden skies and blue waters are on the horizon for Crossley rowers. Keep up the consistent attendance and effort at practice. Reminder that this is a short week so it is important to attend all practices with some key indoor races fast approaching. Novices are welcome and encouraged to attend on any day to get some extra miles. Miles makes champions! Go blue and gold!
