Vaccination clinic is this Friday March 3, 2023, If your parents received an immunization notice from public health. Please remember to bring in your personal immunization record (yellow card) , have breakfast, bring a snack and wear a short sleeved shirt.
A reminder that the DSBN job fair is on Tues. March 7. If you would like to attend, please pick up a permission form from guidance. Forms should be returned to guidance by Monday at the latest.

SPORTS
A reminder to the Intramural Hockey League that the Yellow Team plays the Grey Team tomorrow. The championship and consolation finals will take place next week on Monday and Thursday.
Are you interested in being on the Track & Field team? Then sign up in the Gym Foyer. There are 4 new events that may be of interest to you. Pole Vault, Javelin, Discus and Hurdles. You can try them all when practices start, or you can practice and compete in what you already know. Practices will start the 1st day after March Break (March 20th). Practices go from 2:20-4pm. They will start indoors.
Reminder to the girl’s hockey team of our zone game tomorrow-Thursday at the Welland Youth arena at 2:00 pm, you are dismissed after period 3 to meet at the arena.
Our girls on the JR volleyball team are SOSSA champs! It was a very exciting day of volleyball. The girls defeated Lakeshore Catholic in the semi finals in 5 sets. In the finals, the girls were able to work together as a team to defeat Hamilton District Christian in 4 sets. Their win is a reflection of grit and determination. Teamwork makes the dream work. Congratulations to you. Ms. Di Santo and Ms. Kiley are extremely proud of all members for their contributions to such an exciting season.
A huge CROSSLEY congratulations goes out to our Senior Girls volleyball team for battling their way to OFSAA. The girls fought hard against a very strong Dundas Valley team. The game was full of momentum shifts but the team was able to dig deep to come up with the win! Way to have grit! The team is looking forward to representing our amazing school next week! Thanks again to everyone for all of the ELC support. The team is reminded that there will be a lunch meeting in the gallery and a practice after school today.
