A huge congratulations goes out to our Senior Girls Volleyball team for earning an OFSAA consultation championship making them the 9th best team in Ontario.  It was a highly competitive tournament and the team played with such heart and energy and didn’t ever give up.  The team would like to thank the ENTIRE school for the support during our OFSAA journey - from the comm tech class, the cheerleaders, the jazz band, athletic council, Eddie Lew and all the classes watching our games to cheer us on - we could feel the love and support from our Crossley family.

Great work last night Crossley rowers in getting the swim assessment completed. If you missed it for some reason, there will likely be a second and final swim assessment opportunity post March Break. Stay tuned and be sure to touch base with Mr. Ruscitti in Room 206.

Practices continue for the team right up to March Break as it will not be long before we are out on the water. So it is important to continue attending practice. Thursday is novice night so all newcomers to Crossley rowing are encouraged to be in attendance. If this is your first time, no worries- we will support you the whole way in the true blue and gold way. Rock n’ row see you tonight.

All students interested in trying out for the Varsity Boys Baseball team, new signup sheets have been printed for those who did not get a chance to put their name down. They are posted outside of room 406. Please see Mr. Petro if you have any questions.

Our Wrestlers showed their grit this week as they competed at OFSAA in Ottawa.  They travel to train and compete and do so quietly and with such humility.  We are excited to share that both Seth O. and Ella A. came home with Bronze Medals!!!  What a huge achievement to make the podium among the best wrestlers in all of Ontario!  Way to go!
