Attention to all grade 12 French students who completed their DELF examination, please see Mme Menchella-White to pick up your DELF certifications. Also, any grade 12 French students who were unable to complete their DELF exam and would like to take the DELF exam in April, please see Mme. Menchella-White in room 302.

SPORTS
Girls hockey team - There is a meeting today at lunch for the girls hockey team in Mrs Yallup’s room, to discuss our tournament tomorrow. It will be quick, all players must attend.
Please excuse the Cheer Team today for period 3 & 4 for their cheer clinic.
Boys Soccer Teams tryouts begin tomorrow morning on our turf at 6:30 am. Dress in proper training attire and cleats to be comfortable in cold conditions.
There will be a Jr. & Sr. Girls Basketball meeting in room 103 at lunch to collect sweater sizes and order confirmation. Do not be late!
BADMINTON Team practices and try-outs will start today after school. Practices will be Monday, Wednesday and Friday this week, try-outs will start next week. Everyone is welcome, we will have equipment if needed. There are 3 age groups to compete including Grade 9, Grade 10 and seniors 11,12 together. Categories are Singles, Doubles and Mixed Doubles. We can decide which category to play after a week of practicing and try-outs. Sign-up pages are in the gym foyer starting at lunch, see Mr. “Super Smash” Blanchard if you have any questions.
There will be a Girls Slow Pitch meeting in room 103 at lunch to review the upcoming seasons details. If you can not attend please see Mr. Smith or Mr. Belding.
Attention all girls interested in playing on the varsity girls soccer team this year, there will be a meeting today at lunch in room 306. Bring your lunch. Please see Ms. Di Santo if you cannot attend.

For all Crossley Athletic fans, the Boys Hockey team will be playing for the NRHSAA Championship vs Centennial tomorrow at 2:30pm at the Pelham Meridian Center. Come and see amongst many Crossley stars like Riley “McDavid” Rose, Nevan “The Wall” Rondeau, Max “Sorry coach, Im in the penalty box again” Johnson, Ethan “Slap Shot” Budai, Jacob “Hit the net!” DiRaddo or Adam “I need my skates sharpened!” Repar. All led of course by coaches Bowman-Blanchard and Lew - Lemaire
Track and field starts today after school! If you are interested but forgot to sign up you are also welcome. Get changed and meet in the small gym today. Practice goes till 4pm.
The Varsity Boys Hockey Team is reminded to respond to Mr. Lew’s email ASAP regarding their availability tomorrow.
Attention all Crossley rowers new and experienced. Regular practices resume this week as we gear up for the upcoming on water season. Experienced rowers are out daily and novices are out tuesday and thursday after school but are also welcome on any other day. Meet in the cardio room. With other spring sports starting up this week, please communicate with Coach Ruscitti if you are missing any practices. You are more than welcome to join up with the rowing practice after the other team tryout or practice for that day. Go blue and gold.
It is officially baseball season! Attention all students interested in trying out for the Varsity Boys Baseball team, tryouts will begin on Wednesday after school on the field. Please see Mr. Petro in room 406 if you have not already signed up.
ARTS
All artworks from semester one that were hanging in front hallway or left in art room need to be picked up in room 107 this week.
The DSBN annual “Off the Wall” Art Show for grades 9 to 11 is approaching very quickly! Any students who would like to show their work in this show must bring their artwork to Ms. Wilkinson in room 107 by THURSDAY March 23rd, and submit a title and artist statement for it. ALL artists and artworks are welcome!!!
The city of St. Catharines is calling for all artists of any age to participate in a juried show set for next September. Anyone interested in this show can get more information from Ms. Wilkinson in room 107.
