TODAYS NEWS

E.L. Crossley is offering extra homework and assignment help Tuesday and Thursdays. Mr. Yando and Mr. Leone will be working with students in the library afterschool today until 4 pm. This is a great opportunity to get additional support in any of your courses. Everyone is welcome!

Are you interested in being a leader at the school to take action and create the conditions in the school that promote equity, social justice and inclusion? Tomorrow - Wed. Apr. 12 - there will be an informational meeting at lunch in the gallery about the creation of a student equity alliance. To sign up, there are Brave Space posters around the school with a QR code, or you can see Ms. Ranieri or Ms. PK. All are welcome.

Are you in grade 11 and interested in medicine and the health sciences? Discovery Days in Health Sciences at McMaster University is an event for you! On Friday June 2nd you will have the opportunity to attend a dynamic keynote lecture, attend two interactive workshops and be involved with a career panel discussion. Participants gain a clearer picture of what it would be like to be a health professional by interacting with researchers, clinicians and educators in their real-life work setting. To get more information on this opportunity please see Mrs. Varga in room 113 prior to the end of the day on April 13th.

CLUBS

DSBN Codes starts today. For each of the next four weeks, a new programming challenge will be posted. See Mrs. Stefanidis in room 211 if you are interested!

SPORTS

There will be a girls softball practice after school tonight (Tuesday) and on Thursday after school.  Please meet in room 103 at 2:15 pm.  If you are unable to make either of these practices, please make sure you speak with Mr. Belding or Mr. Smith directly.  You can email either of them or visit them in person throughout the school day.  Please do not tell a friend to let them know.  

Boys Soccer teams practice Wednesday and Friday after school this week and Thursday morning.

All rowers are reminded to pick up pasta dinner tickets from Ms. Yallup in Room 318 if you have not done so yet. Don’t delay pick them up today. Saturday April 29th is coming soon. Go blue and gold!

Attention members of the varsity boys baseball team, practice will be at North Pelham this afternoon right after school. Please see Mr. Petro if you cannot attend. 

BADMINTON:  Our first tournament is this Thursday here at Crossley.  Practices are today and tomorrow after school.  Please see Mr. Blanchard if you are not at practice.  Just a reminder that forms are due today.
