Today is Colour wars Day - could period 1 teachers please complete the google form to record the number of students, by grade, who are wearing their grade colour - grade 9’s have red, grade 10’s yellow, grade 11’s green and grade 12’s blue. A reminder that tomorrow is Flower power or pastel colours day. We are also going to be running an activity in the cafeteria at lunch and Friday is class clones. We will be running class clones during period 3 on friday - SO discuss with your period 3 class this week to figure out what theme you want to dress up as!
Deadline to apply to take a summer course is May 1. If wishing to take either an online, Edutravel or course in person, please make an appointment in Guidance ASAP.
Anyone interested in going away next March to Costa Rica, come to an info session on friday in the lecture hall.
CLUBS
Crossley for Christ is meeting tomorrow at lunch. We are looking to fill the room so we want as many newcomers as possible. Let's enjoy some great time in community and make some new friends. Meet in room 214.
The Competitive Mock Trial Team will meet in Mrs. Barber’s room after school today until 4PM…and…Don’t forget about today’s lunchtime photoshoot in the Commtech room - bring your ‘lawyer’ clothes!
Skills Ontario Field Trip on May 2. The trip roster has been finalized and is posted on Mr. Belding’s room 103 door. Please make sure to check to confirm your attendance on the trip. A reminder to bring a bagged lunch or money to purchase lunch at the Toronto Congress Centre. Any questions please see Mrs. Pomeroy.

SPORTS
Track & Field athletes, your singlets are being handed out today at practice. If you cannot make it today then get it tomorrow. Otherwise pick up your singlet on Monday of next week. If you don’t have 9 practices in then you will have to wait until Monday to get a singlet.
Boys Soccer: Congratulations to the Sr Boys soccer team for their win 5-1 against Westlane on Monday in the Hail. They also played exceptionally well and with exemplary behaviour in the Niagara Cup Tournament yesterday losing in penalty kicks in the Final. All boys practice Thursday morning and Friday after school.
The Crossley Rowing team is hosting their annual pasta dinner/silent auction fundraiser this Saturday, April 29th here at the school. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased at the door or from a Crossley rower. Over 400 tickets have already been sold so it promises to be a fun, family event. All are welcome, Anyone for meatballs and rowgatoni! Go blue and gold!.

Jazz Band Rehearsal is today after school in the music room. Please remember to bring your signed Canada Wonderland AND Music Monday Forms to Mrs. Stock if you haven’t already done so. See you then!
