Good morning Cyclones! Today, May 1st, marks the first day of Mental Health Awareness Week. Crossley’s Wellness Club will be hosting events throughout the week to help create positive change for mental health. When it comes to mental health, it’s important to support ourselves and each other. There are many actions, big and small, that we can do to improve our own mental health and the lives of people living with mental health issues. Stay tuned to the announcements for a new action each day. Today during lunch, Join us in the front foyer for some fun activities to promote mental wellness- including spin the wheel and mindful colouring. Together, the students at E.L. Crossley can join in to help create positive change. Remember that our teachers, counsellors, and principals are here to listen and provide you with support. This week we will talk, walk, and chalk for mental health ☺

SPORTS
A big thank you goes out to all of the Crossley rowers and their families and friends for their hard work and support of the Pasta Dinner Fundraiser. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves and it was great to bring this tradition back after a pandemic pause of a few years. Thank you to Ms. Yallup for spearheading this event and helping to make it happen along with her A Team of volunteers. So much money was raised that the team actually has enough to buy Mr. Blanchard and his Outdoor Ed class their own Bass Pro Shop franchise. Is today May 1 or April 1? Go blue and gold!
Attention girls softball players, there will be a practice on Tuesday and Thursday after school this week depending on the weather. Please listen to the announcements so we can update you on the field conditions at the park. This will determine if we are able to practice or not.
Track and field athletes need to pick up their singlet either today or tomorrow at practice for Wednesday’s competition.
ARTS
Crossley Vocalists - If you have been contacted by Mrs. Stock to sing for the Campfire Sessions, there will be a quick 5 minute meeting at 7:50am TOMORROW in room 500. New vocalists are always welcome!
