Good morning Cyclones! Today is the 3rd day of Mental Health Awareness Week.
The Wellness Club is sharing actions big and small that we can all do to improve our own mental health and the lives of people struggling with mental health issues. Today’s action is “advocate for a friend”.
Sometimes friends might not feel well enough to speak up for themselves. You can help by offering support, going with them to the social worker or school nurse, encouraging them to call Kids Help Phone, or by simply listening. Because when it comes to mental health, now more than ever, every action counts.
Let’s continue to participate in walking laps around the school. Remember this week, let’s talk, walk, and chalk for mental health!
If there is a student who lives in Wainfleet and would consider a summer coop in construction working on Smaller projects that relate to historical building restoration, as well as new construction throughout Niagara and surrounding areas, please see Ms Cripps in Guidance.
