Jordan’s Principle
: Jordan’s Principle is a child first principle and legal rule that was named in memory of Jordan River Anderson. It ensures that First Nations children get the services and supports needed when the child needs them.

Have you seen a dentist in the last year? Do you have dental insurance? A registered dental hygienist from Public Health will be visiting your high school to provide free dental screenings and advice. Students 17 years and under may qualify for free dental services such as cleanings or emergency dental care. Find out if you are eligible!

ATTENTION to all Graduating STUDENTS.  It is that time of year to NOMINATE your Class of 2023 Valedictorian.  This person must exemplify school citizenship, school involvement, school leadership, excellence in academics and be a POSITIVE role model.  The nomination form will be available in the Grade 12 D2L until Friday.  

Today at lunch in the caf the prom committee will be doing table seating.  BE sure to pick your tables before Wed of next week if you want to sit with your friends.  The second deposit is now live on schools cash online please make your last payment. If you have not bought a ticket or paid for a date but still want to go please email Ms. Yallup asap and she will help you out.

CLUBS

Crossley for Christ is meeting tomorrow at lunch. We are looking to fill the room so we want as many new comers as possible. We are providing pizza. Yep pizza. Lets enjoy some great time in community and make some new friends. Meet in room 214.

SPORTS

The Girls Slo-Pitch team had a good start to the tournament season with a few close games. The team worked hard finishing 4th our pool moving us onto the semi finals where we gained a lot of experience. We look forward to the DSBN tournament next Wednesday.

The Junior boys soccer team was victorious yesterday afternoon in their game against Sir Winston Churchill. The boys played well against some tough opposition and came out on top with a score of 3 to 0.

Members of both the Junior and Senior boys soccer teams are asked to meet for a brief meeting in the gym foyer ahead of tomorrow’s doubleheader at West Niagara. Please see Mr. Shannon or Mr. Edwards if you cannot attend the game.

The lacrosse team has a meeting at lunch today in Room 402. Everyone must attend!

ARTS

Jazz Band Rehearsal is today after school in the music room. Please remember to bring in your Canada’s Wonderland slips to Ms. Stock and make payment on School Cash Online if you haven’t already.
