Day of Significance
International Awareness Day for Chronic Immunological and Neurological Diseases: This day recognizes a host of diseases that include Fibromyalgia (FM), Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS), Multiple Chemical Sensitivity (MCS) and Gulf War Syndrome. The importance of bringing awareness to these complex chronic diseases is that they’re often misunderstood

International Nurses Day: This is a day to pay tribute to the outstanding contributions of nurses to the communities, patients, and health systems they serve, as well as their impact on global health outcomes.

Period 1 teachers are asked to hand out the permission forms for Cyclone Day! If you are on spare please see Ms. Kropac in room 308 to obtain the information and permission forms. Cyclone Day will be on June 5 at Queenston Heights and will include a school wide game of capture the flag, water activities, inflatables and more. A free pizza lunch will be provided. We are looking forward to a day filled with fun and opportunities to meet new people and make new friends

Today at lunch in the caf the prom committee will be doing table seating.  BE sure to pick your tables before Wed of next week if you want to sit with your friends.  The second deposit is now live on schools cash online please make your last payment. If you have not bought a ticket or paid for a date but still want to go please email Ms. Yallup asap and she will help you out.

There will be pizza for sale in the caf today, come and get your hot pizza and support your prom committee.

This is a final reminder to the graduating class to get in your nominations for Valedictorian!!  Go to the Grade 12 D2L now and do it!!  

If you are an U18 Pelham Panther hockey player, please see the Grade 12 D2L for a scholarship opportunity or come pick up an application in Guidance.

Attention all Yearbook Members! We are having a quick check-in meeting at LUNCH TODAY! We will see you in Room 203 for this quick meeting. 

Hey do you want to make our school a better place?  Do you want to continue building school community and spirit?  Then we want you to join next year’s Link Crew! There will be a Link Crew information session today in the Lecture at lunch.  TODAY IS YOUR LAST CHANCE to pick up an application in Guidance. Don’t be late, spots are limited and applications are due MONDAY.  We can’t wait to have you on board!

SPORTS

Members of both the Junior and Senior Boys soccer teams are asked to meet for a very brief meeting in the gym foyer today at the beginning of lunch. Please see Mr. Shannon or Mr. Edwards if you cannot attend.

The varsity boys baseball team wrapped up their play in the 2023 BP High School Baseball Classic yesterday against Blessed Trinity. The boys had an excellent showing to start off the year, and will look to continue their strong play into the zone playoffs starting on Monday. Boys, you are reminded that you have a brief lunch meeting at the start of lunch in Room 406.
